What RightCard is

RightCard is a free comparison tool. You tell us how you spend, and we estimate which cashback or rewards credit card would earn you the most, then show you our ranking and the reasoning behind it. Using it does not create an account or any ongoing relationship.

This is not financial advice

We are not a bank, lender, broker, or licensed financial adviser, and nothing on this site is personalised financial advice. Our output is an estimate produced by a calculation, not a recommendation from a professional who knows your circumstances. Whether a credit card is right for you depends on things we do not ask about and cannot see: your existing debt, your credit history, your ability to repay, and your wider financial situation. Decide for yourself, and consult a qualified professional if you want advice.

How we make money

RightCard is free to use. We may earn a commission when you apply for a card through a link on this site. That commission does not change our rankings: the order of cards is produced only from the spending information you give us and the reward rates in our database. We do not accept payment for placement, for a higher position, or for inclusion, and a card that pays us nothing can and does rank first.

Accuracy of card information

We maintain reward rates, annual fees, and welcome offers by hand and re-check them periodically. Card terms still change frequently and without notice, and issuers sometimes offer terms that differ by applicant. Our estimates also make simplifying assumptions. Some bonus rates, for instance, only apply when you pay with a specific wallet or buy from one named retailer. Where we cannot tell that from your spending, we leave the rate out of the estimate rather than assume it in your favour.

Estimates are estimates

Projected cashback figures are modelled from the spending you describe, annualised. Your actual earnings will differ if your spending changes, if a merchant is categorised differently by the card issuer than by us, or if you do not qualify for a card. We do not guarantee approval for any card, or any particular level of earnings.

No affiliation with issuers

RightCard is independent. We are not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any card issuer. Card names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products we compare.

Availability

The site is provided as-is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
